07/26/06 Scaling Monster Test

For the Scaling Monster Test Artix asked the players to do a Test Quest where they encountered several monsters whos stats were scaled to the players level. Afterwards the players had to report how many rounds it took them to kill the monsters, which equipment they used and how much HP and MP were left.

Goal of this test was to balance the formula used to scale the monsters strength so they could use scaled monsters in future special events and wars where players of all levels can participate, experiencing the same degree of challenge.

For the quest a yet unreleased area for a upcoming quest (Whale of a good time!) was used.

Description for Test Quest

This is a special quest where the monsters adjust themselves to your level! Let us know how much life you have left after each side on the forums! (or gurgle if you are dead) Try not to use any potions!
