I don't want to edit this, but should there really be a "How to Kill" section? I mean...it's not in any others! Ryojo 21:30, 26 January 2007 (CST)

Isnt there already a "How to Kill" section? =) --Unknown932 01:41, 27 January 2007 (CST)

Guffer is one of the harder monsters to kill and I think a strategy section is appropriate. There is also one for Gorgok somewhere too. Most monsters don't need a strategy section because they are easy - Guffer's high DPT and immunity to immobility will make it hard for some players to adjust their strategy, so this gives some hints.

IMHO, it could have a more encyclopedic name than "How To Kill" though. :) --Actreal 14:41, 27 January 2007 (CST)

I faced him once. I wasn't prepared so I lost in 2 rounds. I had over 230 HP in the beginning, too. He does over 100 damage per round. Ike 13:22, 25 May 2007 (EDT)

guffer killing

i've killed guffer without friends or a pet, used only stun, defence and power. =P

OMG, I can't believe how hard he is at level 45, his DPT is 413!!! Couple hits and you're dead meat. But I managed to kill him wearing Deathknight Armor and using a Rod of Reflection with Warlic, Artix and dragon. Woot! :) D'oh, wish I took a screenshot! Sigh... - Kristy 05:09, 10 January 2008 (EST)

Heh, killed him a second time and remembered to take a screenshot.[1] - Kristy 05:32, 10 January 2008 (EST)

Edits

I added level 40 stats into table and filled in all Exp and Gold entries. (Exp=level*7.5 (fractions rounded up)) (Gold=level/2.66666... (fractions rounded up)). - Kristy 04:57, 7 January 2008 (EST)

Oh, and some of the DPT values in the table are incorrect. I don't know the formula for calculating them but if anyone else does could you please fix them? Thanks! - Kristy 05:02, 7 January 2008 (EST)

OK, finding the DPT is like finding the average of the max and min dmg. Remember? Say it is X-Y damage. So, you add X+Y, and say that this is N. Now, there were 2 numbers, X and Y, so you divide N by 2, and that's the DPT. Ex:

6-12 damage

6+12=18

18/2=9

9 is the DPT A little clearer? :) --Jayzara 15:40, 7 January 2008 (EST)

Ummm... I know how to get the average of 2 numbers (I did go to school... well sometimes :) ), what I meant was... I don't know how to calculate the damage for missing entries in the table, like how does the game calculate what DPT to give to each different level monster. Silly! :) - Kristy 17:29, 7 January 2008 (EST)
